A big thank you to all those who came alongside in providing our mom with the comfort and care she needed to remain in her home (as she wished) during the final weeks of life. You all were such blessings in making her days a bit brighter and our load a lot lighter.

Thank you to: GAC singers for gracing Mom with an early Christmas Caroling; GAC deaconesses for creating and bringing Mom a special gift basket; hospice team and In-home health caregivers who were a tremendous help in setting up her “new home” and giving such loving care throughout; hospice volunteers who sang and read to Mom, and prayed for her; hospice quilters who provided Mom with a beautiful Christmas quilt; many who gave her well-wishes by way of visits, cards, letters and phone calls.

We would also like to thank those at Silha Funeral Home who helped with the necessary decision-making after Mom’s passing; Pastor Phil for presiding over the burial, comforting and encouraging us with Truths from the Scriptures; and those who honored Mom by sending memorial gifts.

Thank you, all, for giving of yourselves to help others in need.
