There will be a Flu Clinic at the Center on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. For more information please contact the Dawson County Health Department.

The Senior Citizens Center will be participating in Harvestfest/Junkapalooza taking place on Sunday, Oct. 13 at the fairgrounds from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. Stop out and get some Japanese noodles and enjoy the festivities!

The October books are here at the center for the Sagebrush Readers Book Club. The Book for October is The Art of Racing in The Rain written by Garth Stein.

Congratulations to the following winners of the pinochle tournament held on Friday, Sept. 27: 1st place: Kay Arellano & Kent Wangsness; 2nd place: Bob Siegle and Stella Bakken; 3rd place: Frankie Paslay and Mary Kutzler; 4th place: Phillip Siegle and Gary Schlenz.

The following were winners for the activities held this week: pinochle – Kathleen Fritsch: whist-tie: Gil Kaul and Bob Siegle: pinochle – Velma Kinsey.
